Ashley and Antoine first reached out to me in May wanting to get photos for their 10-year wedding anniversary in Joshua Tree. I’m absolutely in love with Joshua Tree and always up for a fun adventure so of course I said yes and we set up the details for a Palm Springs photoshoot. After a few weeks they had to reschedule due to some family and work issues and then sadly things just were not going their way.
We finally were able to set a date for September we planned all the details, and talked, about locations, hair and makeup artists, outfits, and all the fun things. Having never been to Joshua Tree or this part of southern California Ashley really wanted to include them for just a few shots so we found a spot on the side of the road outside of the park and made it work for a few quick photos and then headed back to Palm Springs.
Just after sunrise and I mean I don’t think we could have gotten any luckier. The views, the easy access, the colors. I’m absolutely in love with these photos.
I don’t even know where to begin. We planned our trip from Kentucky to California for May. Due to unforeseen work circumstances, we did not get to actually take our trip until September. Torez was so cooperative and kind, in dealing with our situation. Upon meeting her, she was just as kind in person. She really pays attention to details. Everything that I wanted for our anniversary shoot, she made it happen. She even had our favorite artist playing in the background to set the mood. We are already planning a trip back to take pictures with our children. Let’s not even talk about the quality of the photos, amazing!!!
Palm Springs Photoshoot
Once back in Palm Springs we obviously had to get a street lined with them. One of my favorite things about being a Palm Springs photographer is the neighborhoods! They’re just so photogenic and look straight out of a movie it’s crazy.
I’m literally obsessed with this Palm Springs photoshoot! Even in the middle of the day/morning in the heat, we had soo much fun!
Ashley and Antoine obviously needed to celebrate 10 years of marriage. So, on the way back from Joshua Tree I stopped and got them some champagne.
And hey a little liquid courage can only help if you’re a little camera-shy!
They decided to rent this beautiful classic Thunderbird. And HOLY MOLY was it cool? I’m literally obsessed with this car and them. Name something more Palm Springs…..I’ll wait…
Palm Springs is such a fun place for photos! Joshua Tree is just an hour away. To the beautiful neighborhoods and history in the city, it just feels like magic.
