Fall Couple Photoshoot Ideas | Morgan + Blake

Engagements

I absolutely loved getting to hang out with Morgan and Blake at Sugarloaf Open Space in Danville. I was first taken here a couple weeks before this session by an amazing family photographer Michelle Taylor of Maylily Photo. She hosted some mini sessions here during a quick visit from Utah and I just knew I needed to have a session here.

This is such a hidden gem in the Walnut Creel/ Danville area. It a great quiet space without much foot traffic. So, if you’re look for a place and are little nervous to get in front of the camera this is an amazing option! I even host mini session here every fall and that could be a great opportunity to get your feet wet!

Morgan and Blake were the lucky couple that got to hop in front of my camera. I met Morgan a couple of months ago through a mutual friend while working at Lululemon. And I can truly say she is one of the most sweet-hearted, kindest people that I have ever met. I’m honestly so lucky to be able to call her a friend. Funny enough she was actually dating someone else at the time. A jerk – if you ask me. And a little while later a Blake came along and they are a match made in heaven.

The met the old fashioned way as far as being a millennial is concerned – on hinge. If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you’re not a millennial, so lucky you.

I think part of the charm of Sugarloaf Open Space and one of the benefit to living in California is that even deep into November, past day light savings we can still squeak out some warmer weather. We don’t get a lot of rain here in California but when we do this place is just fields of green. But, other than that it’s the typical brown.

I love hanging out with these two! And we grabbed some beers at Cali Craft in Walnut Creek shortly after and these are the types of nights I AM HERE FOR! The perfect end to a warm fall night.

Looking for some more inspiration for you session with me check out this post in the Redwood Regional Park! For some sessions in San Francisco check out this one at the Sutro Baths or this one at Ocean Beach.
