This was my first time visiting Palm Springs and let’s just say this Palm Springs wedding did not disappoint! It’s crazy how big California is and how you can live in a state basically your entire life and realize that you’ve really seen maybe 10% of it. It’s actually insane! Which is why I’ve decided to focus a lot of travel this year on California and the US specifically. I am so fortunate enough to live in a country where there are such unique and different terrains.
Jesy and Indiana’s Palm Springs wedding was one for the books. I love a good theme and who isn’t down for a fun night out in the desert with good music.
If you’ve never been to Palm Springs before I would recommend either flying into Palm Springs International airport or the Ontario Airport which is just about an hour away. The Palm Springs airport is so small they may only have a couple if any flights from where you’re coming from. And believe me, once you land you’ll see why their airport is tiny and mostly outdoors.
Some notable places you’ll want to check out are Norma’s at the Parker, Boozehounds, and Elmer’s Restaurant. Make sure you stay in an aesthetically pleasing hotel because you’re in Palm Springs and that’s whole the point! Some of my favorites are Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel, L’Horizon Resort & Spa, Santiago Resort – Palm Springs CA, and The Marley Hotel Palm Springs.
This Palm Springs wedding was surprisingly cold and by cold I mean freezing. The wind is no joke and you should definitely prepare accordingly. If you’ve never been to Palm Springs and have been thinking about it this is your sign! Do it! You won’t regret it!
